MeggieSoft Games Euchre & Ecarte is a comprehensive implementation of two popular card games: Ecarte and Euchre (the two-player version). Play against an online opponent or against your computer. Euchre & Ecarte has a rich user interface and many customizable graphic, levelheaded (including MIDI music and lecture output), dominate and scoring options. Six different computer opponent skill levels are available for when you are unable to have online, or scarcely want to use privately.

Both games need winning the majority of fivesome tricks. In Ecarte, each participant is able to swop unwanted cards with sweet ones from the stemma before playing the tricks. In Euchre, no rally is permitted, but the players negotiate which fit will be the ruff fit. Points are won for winning the about tricks, winning totally fivesome tricks, and (in Euchre) pulsing the participant who chose the ruff fit. MeggieSoft Games Euchre & Ecarte also permits the adventurous participant to conflate rules from each punt - hence creating a "Eucharte" cross.

The user interface, mutual to totally MeggieSoft Games, supports both point-and-click and drag-and-drop mouse operations. Features include: realistic animated card movement; right-click pop-up menus; a wind facility; a tutorial; automatic play; automatic save and restore of partly finished games; multiple-user scoreboards; a strip and uncluttered main window; status-bar shortcut buttons; and fully customizable main showing font and wallpaper effects for the table and playing matting, and the card backs.
