Want to brushwood up on the names and locations of the 40 or so countries of the new Europe? This program from the Family Games Web Center will help you. European Geography Tutor presents a scrolling map of Europe along with a tilt of countries. As your mouse pointer passes over the map, the land under the pointer highlights, along with its entry in the tilt. Simply browse the map until you find ready, then try either of the two self-test modes. In Find Countries fashion, you are asked to snap a land on the map given its cite. In Identify Countries fashion, you are asked to snap the cite in the tilt corresponding to the land that is highlighted on the map. Both quizzes discharge through the entire tilt of 39 countries in random order. A running score is displayed. Any errors are highlighted in the land tilt for later review. |
